St Luke’s Yea is a welcoming and growing church, which is open every day for prayer.
Help save a part of Yea’s history
For 150 years St Luke’s has overlooked the township of Yea, supporting locals through two world wars, the devastation of bushfires, marriages, chrsitenings and deaths. In 2018, St Luke’s celebrates 150 years of worship and is undertaking a much needed and large restoration process. Donations towards the restoration are greatly appreciated. Refer to 150th Restoration page for details on how to make a donation.
We invite you to share our faith journey and look forward to seeing you soon.
As an Anglican church, our worship is traditional, while our theology is “forward looking”. We believe that all are welcome in God’s Church, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, economic status, nationality, or identity. Whether you are someone who has worshipped in the Anglican tradition all your life, or are just starting out on your investigation of what ‘Church’ is, you are welcome at St Luke’s!
to continue to be an innovative parish, focused on the development of our faith and our church. We seek to provide a Christ-like approach to all; offering caring, respectful support within our congregations and the community.
to work together to build a strong and cohesive community of faith and service in Yea and surrounds, celebrating the joy and glory of God through our worship and in our daily lives. Striving to create synergies within the local community, which strengthens the community and our church into the future?
